Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
Our Level 2 Certificate in Accounting introduces a range of basic accounting principles and techniques, making it suitable for people new to finance looking to develop an introductory level of knowledge and skills. This qualification covers areas such as costing, the principles of booking and double-entry while also introducing an understanding of the key business concepts such as contract law, the business environment and CSR.
Key themes, such as communication, ethics, technology and sustainability within the context of an accounting role are introduced within the qualification, ensuring your employees are equipped to deal with broader business activities and the developing industry.
Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
Our Level 3 Diploma in Accounting covers more complex accounting tasks, including maintaining cost accounting records and preparation of reports and returns. Completing this qualification will enable your staff to master accounting disciplines such as financial processes, advanced bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
Complemented with the understanding of professionalism in the workplace, the importance of ethical and sustainable practices, and an increased understanding of how technology can be used to improve efficiency you’ll have a skilled member of staff ready to take their training to the next level.
On completion they can apply for our bookkeeping membership and gain the designatory letters AATQB after their name.
Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting
Our Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting will enable your staff to become proficient in delivering high level accounting tasks. They’ll receive training in drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. They’ll also have the opportunity to specialise in areas from tax to auditing and credit control.
The key themes are built on further throughout this qualification, ensuring your staff have a deep understanding of the benefits and risks associated with the correct application of these within industry, giving you the peace of mind that your finance function is operating with a high level of professionalism.
On completion, they’ll be perfectly placed to become an AAT full member and gain the designatory letters MAAT after their name, and go onto chartered studies if they wish.
