As an AAT professional member, your employee commits to lifelong learning through our continued professional development (CPD) pathway. This ensures your business has the competitive edge. In return, they achieve a professional status recognised by colleagues and clients.
As part of their membership, we provide a wealth of resources to help them keep their skills fresh including a monthly newsletter, technical and ethical helplines, podcasts and industry updates.
Who can become a professional member?
On completion of the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or the Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping, your staff members can gain a professional status by becoming an AAT bookkeeping member, using the designatory letters AATQB. On completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting, your staff have the opportunity to apply for AAT full membership and use the designatory letters MAAT. And after five years as a MAAT and with senior and managerial work experience, your staff can apply for fellow membership, FMAAT.
